Our Lesson Program
The main goal of our lesson program is to develop relaxed and confident riders with balanced seats. We include fun and safe activities such as horse soccer, water games, trail rides, obstacles, gymkhana, bareback riding, horse trivia cards, in-hand exercises, and more.
We offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons in both English and Western riding disciplines for youth and adults at all levels.
*The first lesson will be an assessment to evaluate the rider.
Beginner Lessons
For the rider who is new to horses and riding.
Lessons include:
Horse grooming.
Tacking up.
Basic horse handling.
Building horse knowledge.
Introductory riding.
Introductory jumping.
Intermediate Lessons
For the rider who knows how to tack up by themselves and has some riding experience.
Lessons include:
Tacking up by themselves.
Introduction to lateral work.
Focus on equitation.
Hands-on horse care.
Low level jumping.
Learning a balanced seat.
Advanced Lessons
For the rider with advanced horse knowledge, riding experience, and a balanced seat.
Lessons include:
Fine tuning dressage and jumping skills.
Higher jumps and longer jump courses.
Learning to judge strides.
Increased lateral work.
Learning to collect and extend gaits.
Lunging.
Ponytails
30-minute private lesson for riders who are five years old or younger.
One-on-one teaching.
Introduction to horses and barn environment.
Adult Lessons
Whether you are new to riding or an experienced rider, we offer adult lessons for all levels.
Pricing
Private Lessons: $90 per lesson
Private Lesson Discount: $85 per lesson
Groups Lessons (three to four riders) : $65 per lesson
Group Lesson Discount: $55 per lesson
Trail Ride (two hours): $40 per horse
Practice Ride (a parent must be present): $40 per session
Training: $40 per session
Lesson discounts are applied when group lessons are prepaid for the month.
Missed lessons need to be made up within the month.
Show riders who are not leasing a horse are required to have two lessons a week.
24 hour cancellation for lessons.
